What Alibi is
Alibi is a free Android app that keeps, on the device itself, a copy of the notifications from the apps you choose. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.
Personal use
Alibi is made for personal use, on your own device. You are responsible for choosing which apps to record and for using the app lawfully, respecting other people’s privacy.
Your data
Proofs stay only on your device. We have no access to them and cannot recover them if you delete the app, lose the device or forget the backup password. Make backups if the content matters to you.
What the app cannot do
Alibi only records what arrives as a notification, and depends on Android keeping notification access turned on. It does not recover messages that never produced a notification and does not guarantee that every notification will be captured.
Ads
The app shows Google AdMob ads to stay free. Ads follow Google’s policies and have no access to your proofs.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from using, or being unable to use, the app.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions can be sent to the email on the contact page.
