FILE NO. 0047 PERSONAL USE

Your phone’s alibi.

Keep the notifications from the apps you choose. Everything stays on your device.

CASE FILE

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose the apps

Nothing is recorded until you choose. No app comes selected, and you can remove any of them from the list whenever you want.

  2. 02

    Every notification becomes a proof

Numbered, with date, time and source app, organized by day, like the pages of a case file.

  3. 03

Look it up when you need it

Search, filters and a stamp on what was deleted. The code that vanished from the status bar is still there.

WHAT’S IN THE ARCHIVE

Features

  • Only the apps you choose

Records notifications only from the selected apps. None is selected by default.

  • Sender filter

In messaging apps, choose between “All”, “Only these” or “All but these”.

  • “DELETED” stamp

Shows when a message was deleted after it arrived, with the time it was removed.

  • Search and filters

Search for part of a message and filter by app, date, sender and type: All, Deleted, Messages or Banks.

  • Keyword alerts

Get notified when a word shows up. The alert shows only the word and the app, never the message.

  • Lock and encryption

Biometric or PIN lock and an encrypted database on the device.

  • Backup and export

Password-encrypted backup and export to JSON, CSV and PDF.

  • Retention period

Choose how long to keep proofs. The oldest ones are deleted automatically.

  • Home screen widget

Today’s proof count and the “deleted, but recorded” ones, without opening the app.

PROOF NO. 0047 2:32 PM

Messaging app

Marina: call me when you leave, I’ll send you the new address

DELETED

Removed by the app at 2:35 PM. Recorded at 2:32 PM.

EXHIBIT

Deleted, but recorded.

If a message is deleted after it arrives, the proof stays in the archive, marked with the “DELETED” stamp and the time the source app removed the notification.

“Deleted” means the source app removed the notification. That includes messages deleted by the sender, but also notifications the app clears by itself, for example when you open the conversation.

Alibi only keeps what arrived as a notification. Messages that never produced a notification, such as those from muted conversations, cannot be recorded.

CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

The archive is yours. Only yours.

  • Everything stays on the device: no account, no server and no usage analytics.
  • Notification content is never sent over the internet.
  • The app shows ads (Google AdMob) to stay free. Ads have no access to your proofs.
  • Biometric or PIN lock and an encrypted database. You choose the apps and can revoke access whenever you want.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

Does Alibi send my messages anywhere?

No. Everything stays on the device, in an encrypted database. Alibi has no account and no server, and notification content is never sent over the internet.

What does DELETED mean?

That the source app removed the notification after posting it. It may be a message deleted by the sender, but also a notification the app cleared by itself, for example when you opened the conversation.

Why don’t some conversations show up?

Muted conversations in messaging apps don’t produce notifications, so they are not recorded. To keep them without being disturbed, set that app’s notification to “Silent” in the Android settings.

Why does the app ask for notification access?

That’s how it reads what comes in, and only from the apps you choose. You can revoke access at any time in the Android settings.

Can I export my proofs?

Yes, to JSON, CSV and PDF, plus a password-encrypted backup.

Is the app free?

Yes, with Google AdMob ads. Ads have no access to your proofs.
